  1. I have pics on my phone that were instant uploaded, but are not in picasa. How can I delete them from my phone?

  2. I'm sorry. I'm not sure I understand what you are asking me.

So you have photos on your phone
And those photos have been uploaded to Instant Upload.
Now these photos aren't in picasa.

And you want to know how to delete them from your phone.

So you want to delete the photos on your your phone ? If you want to delete the photos on your phone, open up the gallery app from your phone, or whatever you use to view your pictures, select the photos you want to delete, and delete.

I am assume that is what you are asking me since the photos are not in picasa, and there is nothing to delete there.

How do you know they are uploaded if they are not in picasa ? Are they showing up as uploaded to Instant upload in Google+ ? If they are and you don't see them in picasa, are you sure you are logged in the correct login ? are you looking in the correct folder ?

  3. Hi. Thanks for your help. The pictures are showing up in my Instant Uploaded file in my Droid gallery. I don't have the option to delete them.

  4. If they are indeed showing up on your phone, and you don't have the option to delete it, then what you are looking at is a Web Album.

It will be on Picasa. You will have to check if you logged in with the correct email address. Is the login you are using to look for the photos in picasa the same login as your Google+ ?

    2. I don't think it would be a good idea to have your instant upload folder public. If you took a picture of something meant to be private... it's going to be uploaded to the album, and everyone's gonna see it.

The album being private is like a fail safe. If you want people to see the pictures, you'll have to share them.

What you can do is make another folder called PUBLIC INSTANT UPLOADS (name it whatever you want), make that new album public, and move all the photos from INSTANT UPLOADS over to the new one.

Share it to everyone, and it will be public.

As you share a photo from the Instant upload album on G+, that photo becomes visible to whom ever the post was shared to.

If you move photos from that album to another, the photos will follow the rules of the album it was moved into. So if you move a photo into an album that public, the photo moved will be visible to all. If moved to an album that's only viewable to those who have a link, then those who have a link will see the photo you moved into that album.

I believe when you move a photo into a new album, you have a choice of notifying those circles/people the album was originally shared to, to let them know new photos have been added to the album.

I wouldn't pursue trying to make your instant upload album public though... it's a bad idea.
